Vigo overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, is a city worker who has based its development on the fishing port (the largest in Spain), shipbuilding, canneries and factories of PSA Peugeot Citroën and Pescanova.

SPORTS CENTER

IMD of Vigo. Travesas Sport Hall (Center Court).

Location: Avenida of Castrelos, 1. VIGO.

Building: Built in the last century and renovated in 1998 by architect Mr. Santiago González García.

Capacity: 3500 spectators.

The IMD of Vigo houses the Travesas Sport Hall.
Located in the heart of the city Castrelos Avenue, near the Plaza of the Americas. In 1998 it was restored by architect Don Santiago González García Gallego.

The center court, where they play Gestibérica and VigoUrban Celta, has a capacity of 3500 spectators.

The sport hall has 6 meeting rooms, cafeteria and it is equipped with rugby football field, jogging track, gymnasium, swimming pool and sports courts to hockey and tennis.
